AAU Nationals are taking place and we will be bringing you exclusie reports on how some of our favorite teams and players will be doing 

tyus battle 2016

We havn't seen much of,  Battle due to the decline of the once unbeatable team battle. But that doesnt mean the 6'2 guard isnt still putting in work. he has one of the best jumpshots around. Tyus can simply do whatever it is he wants. when he is on the court he is just a killer yet off the court hes soft spoken .... keep up the good work tyus 

Star update (isaiah briscoe)

I beleive this is the first time this young man has graced our site, and that is an injustice. Briscoe will be playing highschool basketball with St.benedict's prep and rumor has it is he is already starting varsity. Isaiah simply gets buckets if you want a score just give him the ball and he will do work. we will keep you posted on his progress.

Karl Towns = Durantula

Karl Towns is a Piscataway native , and with his height and tremendous skill set it is expected that he would be compared to kevin durant. 6'10" and only in the 8th grade based on the video you can tell this young man has range well beyond the nba 3 point line . He has post moves that make Enes Kanter look mediocre and not to mention he is playing against some of the best 14u 15u teams in the country (Playas Basketball Club)

I know we seem to only right about the guards but its because we are a little baised because almost 100% of our staff played the guard position but we apologize and we do have some elite big man who definatley deserve a few right ups , so later on tonight you will receive some write ups and maybe some footage of the best grammar school bigs in the Nation

Star update(isaiah whitehead)

we usually don't discuss highscool players , but Whitehead is Hoops Elite alumni and we want to prove that we know what we are talking about (joking). Isaiah was recently written about in the Nypost because although he is a freshmen he is starting varsity and making tremendous contributions to Lincoln's basketball team with 13.5 ppg on a stacked team. Keep working Isaiah and hopefully we will still be talking about you when your a freshmen in college and a rookie in the league

Besides the fact that he has the size , knowledge and overall skill Jamir is the hardest working player in his class and this is why we beleive he  has the potential to have a succsfull college career and hopefully make it to the league.  Currently we do not know what Basketball club Harris is playing because he spent a long time with National powerhouse team final and now he has left but i guarantee that whatever team he plays for he will be a tremendous addition.Jamir is only in the 7th grade so we do not have a highschool choice yet

Stephenson is young for his class and yet he continues to play 2 or 3 years up, and still dominates . This makes us at Hoops Elite wonder what he would do against kids his own age!!! Recently we watched stephenson play in a highschool varsity scrimmage and stephensons scored every way possible . Floaters,pull up Jumpers , hard drives , reverse layups . Jamari's parents say that he hopes to play varsity next and with his skill and hardwork we dont see why not.

Nassir is dropping buckets with Team scan and the Playaz .Barrino has decided to play highschool basketball at Hudson Catholic and i personally feel this is the best place for him after watching him throughout the years.

Lamar had been balling it up with team final 14u team ( a national powerhouse)  , and it is rumored that he will be taking his talents to Life Center Academy after being recruited by countless schools in the south jersey philly area. Team Final has not been to many big time events as of lately but Lamar still seems to find a way to make his self known

This years aau circuit has not been up to par and we are challenging all our competition middleschoolelite.com and bballspotlight. We will be holding the best tournaments with the best teams and best players and we refuse to limit our tourneys simply for regional teams we want teams from the south (texas,florida,georgia,south carolina) west (california,las vegas,

Haters

Many people who are not fond of our blog is saying that we write about the same people repetitivley and that we make it seem like anyone who is on our site is a kobe bryant.
Our response to that is we know where the great players go and if we here that their somewhere we will follow them to see if our evaluation is true. Not everyone on our site will star in the nba some players may not even go but we only write about players who seem like they have the potential to do so .., in all honesty if a player scores 10 points and 10 assist but plays no deffense and doesnt put forth effort they wont be on our site because we dont feel they have the potential to make it to the league so therefor where tough scouts deal with it

lamar is a tough philly guard who plays with poise but yet is hard nosed he makes the right play when and is equally talented in scoring and passing and is capable of punching in 15 plus with his loaded squad

Juwan who is an assasin a great scorer and capable of going for 25 plus any givin night is a very strong and athletic guard.

Team rankings for new jersey (14u)

1. has to be the south jersey crew team final who are stacked with talent one of the top guards in the country lamar kimble along with the arrival of ray allen prototype malachai richardson and division 1 prospects trevaughn wilkerson and malik ellison give you an elite team nearly impossible to challenge

2 This team is pretty underated but with thier st.patricks affiliation and great coaching staff along with solid players otis livingston and isaiah still means a bright and promising future lies ahead for this crew

3Team scan formerly known as kyda had a promising season last year and shouldnt disapoint this upcoming season and i beleive some of thier players will be attending the phenom camp on the 30th in conneticut

Jamari Stephenson video highlights

Jamari Stephenson is one of the Nations best point guards with a game similar to that of austin rivers. Jamari doesnt put up numbers like rivers but thier game is similar and if this younster keeps working he has the ability to become one of the best. He is one of Hoops Elite's favorites and he should be high in our rankings
